PJ Schafer memorial golf tournament
To the Kind Supporters of the PJ Schafer Memorial Golf Tournament,
Our golf tournament, growing every year, benefits the PJ Schafer Cardiovascular Research Fund. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. See our website for more information: http://www.pjschafer.com You can click on the links below to print out our tournament documents, or just click on the tabs above to view our golfing and sponsorship opportunities for this year's tournament. On the Golf page and the Sponsors page there are registration forms if you prefer to print them and send a check rather than using your credit card on PayPal.
The
tournament helps us continue to support the work of
The
Johns Hopkins Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Heart
Disease, in the hope that we can spare others from the pain
that we have experienced. The proceeds help to fund
talented, young, clinical investigators gain a better
understanding of how to prevent/diagnose premature heart
disease and/or sudden cardiac death. The PJ Schafer
Cardiovascular Research Grant was awarded at a luncheon in January 2009
to Drs. Richard George and Saman Nazarian.
In addition to our golf tournament, we have successfully funded the PJ Schafer Scholarship fund so that two scholarships will be awarded each year to deserving students in perpetuity at CCBC Catonsville.
We would like to thank everyone for standing with us in our fight against heart disease.
