Paul (PJ) Schafer III February 24, 1983 - March 23, 2003
PJ Schafer may have walked this earth for only 20 years, but he touched the hearts and souls of thousands of people. He has left us with a legacy of hard work, both on the athletic field and on the field of life. He was many things to many people...a son, a big brother, a grandson, a cousin, a friend, a mentor, a coach... and a light-hearted soul who could bring a touch of humor to any situation.
He accomplished much in his short time on earth:
- Eagle Scout
- Captain of sports teams
- 100's of hours of community service
- Strong academic performance
- American Legion Boy's State Graduate
- Completed the Cycle Across Maryland Bike Tour
- Completed a 12-day trek at the Philmont Boy Scout Ranch
